Delete Your Account
How to delete an account and everything attached to it, from the web, without reinstalling anything.
Short versionYou can delete your account yourself, from inside the app or from this page. You do not need our permission and you do not need to explain why.
Section 1The fastest way: delete it in the app
Every app we publish that lets you create an account also lets you delete it from inside the app. Open the app, go to Settings, then Account, then Delete account. It takes effect straight away and you do not have to contact anybody.
We build it this way on purpose. Making somebody email support to close an account is a dark pattern, and both Apple and Google now require the in app route anyway.
Section 2Delete it from here instead
If you have already removed the app, or you cannot open it, use this form. It reaches us directly and you do not need to install anything to use it.
Send the request from the email address on the account. If you send it from a different address we will have to verify that the account is yours before we can delete it, which is slower for you and is the only reason we would ask.
Section 3What gets deleted
All of this is removed from our systems:
- your profile, your name and your email address;
- your password, or the link to the Apple, Google or Shopify account you signed in with;
- everything you created in the app, including your settings and your saved content;
- any scheduled work attached to your account, such as reminders or automated jobs;
- your entry in any email list of ours, so the messages stop.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account once it has gone, so export anything you want to keep before you start.
Section 4What we keep, and why
Four narrow things survive a deletion. Each one is either required by law or exists to prove we honoured your request.

Section 5How long it takes
- In the app: immediately. Your access ends the moment you confirm.
- Through this form: we acknowledge within one business day and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
- Backups: cleared within 35 days of the deletion.
Section 6Cancel the subscription separately
This is the one that catches people out. If you bought a subscription through Apple, Google or Shopify, deleting your account with us does not cancel it, because we cannot cancel it on your behalf. Only the store that took your money can stop the billing.

Section 7If you cannot get into your account
Use the form above and tell us what happened. We will verify that the account is yours and handle it from our side. We will only ask for what verification actually requires, and we will never ask you to send a photograph of an identity document to close an account.
